Fletcher, Poynter ,Jones and Judd have all been speaking about "...A new direction," in "Not just the music, everything" via their individual twitter accounts and interviews with Heat magazine and various other publications. On the 25th of November 2009, it was confirmed by Fletcher on his twitter McFly have been writing new material in collaboration with Taio Cruz , and the band went to Atlanta to write music with Dallas Austin. According to twitter, they did write new songs. Some Sources have claimed McFly have written songs called "Foolish" and "Mona Lisa" with NazTokio.
